We met through our great friend Alex Goodwin (Alexis). Tim was a bar tender at Stoney's sports bar in Cap Hill and Alex was his general manager. Tim would often describe his "ideal" girl to Alex and she kept telling him, "I have the perfect girl for you and she happens to be one of my best friends." One day Traci was visiting Alex at Stoney's the same time Tim was working and there was an immediate connection. Later on, Tim invited Traci to have dinner and drinks at a local spot on South Broadway. After leaving dinner, Traci tripped on the jagged sidewalk and fell flat on her face. Tim kindly picked her up and dusted her off and the night went on. Even though she was mortified, it gave him a chance to show off his heart and charm. After three weeks of casually seeing each other, Tim brought Traci to Arapahoe Basin, his favorite place to ski on a powder day. They took one lap in bounds, and Tim decided Traci could handle the side country where all the real skiers go for the best turns. While charging through the powder and exploring the hidden huts along the way, something clicked and they both knew it was a bond for life.
