For those of you who may not know how a baseball playing, cricket obsessed Australian from Adelaide met a concert loving nurse from a hometown of 150, well here it goes. Traci's friend, Jenny, who lives around the Devils Lake area, sent a snap chat of Kyal to her, saying "I want you to meet this guy." Traci opened this before her morning shift and thought "oh he's cute, but Devlis Lake? I never go there" and went on about her day. Only SIX months later did she decide to take Jenny up on her offer to become matchmaker. Their first meeting was at "Razors," a complete dive bar with terrible karaoke singing in the background. And you guys, it was pretty awkward. Just ask them both! Well, as the night went on, someone drank a little too much alcohol and the other thought yea I can deal with her. Kyal drove to Fargo the next week, they went on their first date and the rest is history!

Kyal surprised Traci with a birthday trip to Napa, California. On their second day there, 2 wine tastings deep, they were walking through the vineyards, Traci turned around and to see Kyal was down on one knee. Traci instantly started crying and asked if he was going to actually ask the question "Will you marry me." He did, and she said yes! Then they went on to drink a lot more wine!
