The wedding and the reception are inside. They will both take place at the same location. All events will take place on the first level of the venue, but the mezzanine will be open for wanderers.
As of right now, we are not able to host children at the wedding or the reception. We will let you know if that changes. For those interested in traveling with kiddos, I'm leaving Gail Morris with the task of figuring that out... she doesn't know this yet, but just call her :)
No one will know until the week of the wedding. It could snow or be in the 80s and sunny. Ideally, both will happen over the weekend. 1. Check the weather frequently while packing 2. Expect it to get cold at night 3. Bring some options and layer-able options
Denver is the Mile High City (5,280' / 1,609m) and we celebrate our thin air. It might take you a night or two to adjust from sea level, but it's usually not that big of an issue for visitors down in the Front Range. It is likely to be more of a concern if you go up to higher altitudes (you can drive up to 14,000 feet in a couple of spots and there are towns as high as 10,000 feet). Any which way, you'll want to drink extra water and watch your alcohol intake. It may hit and dehydrate you a little faster than you expect.
Golden is 30-40 minutes from the airport and is pretty easy to get to! You can of course get a taxi/Uber/Lyft, but there is also the light rail which is super easy to take into Denver to a connecting train to Golden. Downside to the light rail is it doesn't actually reach the part of Golden anyone wants to go to, so you would need to take a cab from there. You can also rent a car at DIA if you plan to stay longer in CO and venture outside of Golden.
Yes it's legal - but Golden does not have have any stores! You'll want to get your fix just outside of Golden. Everbloom has good prices and is on the way to Golden - check her out! AND REMEMBER edibles take time - especially if there is other food in your belly. If you're not sure where to start, 5 mg is recommended.
