During late 2010, Tracey and Ern brushed past each other at Westchester High School while attending a SYFL rival game against the Compton Vikings. Tracey noted that Ern had a nice memorable smile. She did not know who this mysterious man was, so she asked her friend Tricey & Todd, who were both uncertain. Tracey's son was selected to play on the SYFL's all-star team. Tracey had a strong intuition to attend all-star practice. While surveying the team's practice, she noticed her son was completing a specific roll over, jump up and hit drill, and believed he was being mistreated. She focused on the instructing coach with the hat and gray sweatshirt (later, her son would clarify that this specific drill was a formality and she had nothing to worry about). However, at the time, she stood & waited 2 and a half hours until practice was finished to introduce herself and confront the coach. As she extended her hand to shake the seemingly ruthless coach's hand, he smiled, and she realized it was the guy with the memorable smile. Needless to say, no confrontation took place. She would later find out that the mystery guy is “Coach Scott,” a defensive coach during regular season for the Vikings. Tracey and Ern naturally established a strong friendship. As their friendship started evolving over the years, with the blessings of her sons, he asked Tracey on an official date. From there they developed into each other’s twin flame, yin and yang, lovers and friends. Ern loves old school music, Tracey loves rap lyrics over a strong 808 beat. Ern is not a dancer, but will two-step, while Tracey wears her boogie shoes daily. Most importantly, Tracey is a Celtics fan and Ern is a die hard Laker fan. Just as football brought them together, it continues to keep them close as they meet in the middle to cheer on the San Francisco 49ers, their favorite NFL team. On January 25, 2020, Ern asked for Tracey's hand in marriage and on October 2nd, 2021 we will all witness their union.
