Puerto Vallarta has only one international airport. Please make sure you book your flight to the airport with the PVR airport code. The hotel is approximately 30 mins from the airport, but less than a $15 ride.

ALL ROOMS MUST BE BOOKED BY November 30TH FOR THESE RATES. (There is a three-night minimum but when you click the link you will see that the dates for booking at 3/22 to 3/27, you may book your rooms any day that week, just make sure you are there on MARCH 24th, for the wedding ceremony). Airport Hagglers

Once you have left baggage claim and head through the doors as if you were leaving, you will be asked by many people if you have a ride, if you are catching an uber or if you have a rental car... THEY WILL MAKE IT SEEM LIKE STOPPING TO TALK IS URGENT. IT IS NOT! KEEP WALKING!!! This is the transportation hub and they hike up the prices of taxis and car shares to compete with Uber. Please, disregard these questions and keep moving through the airport to exit outside. We are currently working with our hotel and transportation services to find the best options for you all. Below you will find information about Uber's from the airport and other modes of transportation.

Uber- Rideshare

We are in luck, Uber picks us up from the airport! Once you have exited the building please walk to the left, following the sidewalk around the corner (in the direction cars are coming from). You will then turn left and walk up the ramp and cross the bridge to meet your Uber. You will be approached by children asking if you have an Uber (SAY YES, THEY ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU). Please verify the license plate of your vehicle before getting in the car and please don't forget to tip the children!

Rental Cars

We do not recommend renting a car. Especially if you have never rented a car internationally before. If you have rented a car internationally and have a large family or plan on venturing off of the resort on personal ventures, please feel free to book yourself and your family a car. However, most of the city is walkable and we are a mere 8 mins away by uber to the city center. Uber's are super cheap here, and you do not have to worry about international driving hazards.

Currency Exchange

If you plan to exchange USD for Mexican Pesos- please request an exchange through your bank. Exchange rates are best in the US than at the airport or the banks in Mexico. How much to exchange is based on your anticipated amount of spending. Most places accept visa credit or debit cards. (Please do not use credit/debit cards in sketchy stores/areas.)
