NAPA WEDDING 2025

We met when we were both just 13 years old. It was the very first day of freshman year at East Ridge and I approached Trace and his friends to chat. (Shout out to Andreaus for being there since Day 1). I pretended to know who they were and had lots of fun chatting. Trace asked Andreaus how he knew me, Andreaus responded by saying I was a stranger and he thought Trace already knew me. Over the years, our friendship grew until our senior year when we started dating!

Even though we had been flirting for awhile, I took the leap and asked Trace out on a date! I didn’t have any plans made (he took me to Old Town and we admired the classic cars), but I told him if he gave me a shot I would watch his favorite movie with him, Clerks. I asked him out on December 1st 2016 and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Our first date was December 3rd, when we had tons of food around Old Town. Trace tried to lady and the tramp some fries with me, and I was so excited that I headbutted him and ripped the food from his mouth. He knew he wanted a lady that could take charge and it was a successful date despite my clumsy blunders.

We had taken a friend’s trip up to Massanutten, Virginia (Virginia is for lovers!) with our friends Benjo, Britny, Jimmy, and Lily. The trip included cave exploring, snow tubing, and a trip to the Smithsonian. But Trace knew it needed the perfect end! We all dressed up fancy for a murder mystery night, he grilled up some steaks and pulled me outside under the stars to pop the question!
