Where do you recommend staying?

Answer

All hotels recommended are great choices! The Nonantum Resort has the added convenience of being the location of the Reception, so guests could run to their rooms quickly or leave the events at their convenience. There will also be transportation from the Nonantum Resort to the Wedding Ceremony and back. Other hotels/rentals in the Kennebunk or Kennebunkport area are also highly recommended.

Are kids invited?

Answer

Due to guest numbers the Ceremony, and Reception will be child-free events. We are happy for your kids to join you at the hotels/resorts and can provide contacts or recommendations for babysitting during the events. Should your kids join you for the weekend, they are welcome to celebrate with us during the good-bye brunch.

What type of transportation is available?

Answer

Be aware, Ubers or public transportation is extremely limited. We will provide guests with trolley transportation to and from the Ceremony to assist. For those flying in, we recommend a car rental for your visit.

How warm is Maine in July?

Answer

For out of town guests, New England weather is always changing! Typically July in Maine means warm days with sun (and humidity) and slightly cooler nights. Peak temperatures in July average about 76°F. We would recommend packing layers and light jackets for the wedding events if you tend to get cold. There is also always the threat of rain so fingers crossed for good weather!
