We are looking forward to a wonderfully relaxed, laidback, fun event to celebrate our relationship, and, technically make things official. We would love to have every single one of our friends and family in attendance, but we want to ensure everyone attends knowing what to expect. Don't expect classic wedding tropes or themes. DO expect food, drinks, games. Don't expect modern wedding trends, hip coordinated dances, or choreographed sentiments. Do expect random chaos, new high scores, and a drunken group dance of The Time Warp. Should you have any questions, please ask - we DO want everyone to attend, but we also want to make sure if you attend, you know what you are getting into. Should anyone traveling not want to travel for a simple arcade party, we will not be offended - we get it, and don't hold it against you - let's grab dinner and drinks some other time.
The wedding day activities of 9/21/2024 will start at 2:30 PM with a cocktail hour, ceremony to follow. 2:30 PM Cocktail Hour 3:30 PM Ceremony 4:00 PM Food and Games 6:00 PM Time Warp 7:00 End - Feel free to stay later, game passes are good until the arcade closes.
Dress for a Party! Be it cocktail, formal, or COSTUME! We would love to see everyone dressed up or costume, but since it is an arcade, we want to stress comfort! Make sure you have comfortable shoes and outfit you don't mind wearing and gaming in, but also would enjoy being photographed in! (Cosplay highly encouraged, don't be shy, you will not be alone.) But we would seriously love seeing costumes! Should you need costume help, let us know...surprise surprise the entire wedding is full of nerds who can make some visions come to life.
No, all guests (who RSVP in time!) get UNLIMITED PLAY ALL DAY!
Haha, is that even a question? We will have 'his and her' drink selections, margaritas, and a selection of thematic shots. BYOB is also allowed, and we will of course have some non alcoholic options and a water station.
If you know us, you know we will have lots of great food and drink options - that said, we also know how important it is to have your own, should need arise, and we are therefore pleased to let you know you can also bring your own food/drink, in addition to enjoying the drinks and food we will have. (Scott B, yes, you can order a pizza, but I doubt Imo's will deliver this far)
For smokers, there is an outside area - please don't be gross and litter - I will make sure there is something there for cigarette butts, but seriously, don't litter - it is gross and there is no need. Vape - Be cool, and there shouldn't be an issue using it "fun" smoke - Please see the wedding party for details should this apply to you.
