Hello Family and Friends, With the current state of Covid, we need to alter the wedding plan. This is an unfortunate message to share, however, we want to prioritize safety and health of everyone. Although we cannot have a large event, we will have the wedding ceremony down the shore with our parents and siblings at the end of September. In the future, we plan to have the wedding celebration with all who were originally invited. The date will be decided when we feel comfortable with having a large event. We are both very happy together and are thrilled to be married! Although this was not the original plan, we know that one day we will be able to celebrate with all the people who are closest to us. Be well.Love, Mike and Laura
It all started off with a text message to Laura - "Going to throw a question at you, totally cool if you say no". Fortunately, Laura accepted, and soon Mike and Laura began spending time together at local areas around Brielle and Asbury. Mike was quick to meet all of the Lyons family through Lindsey's engagement party and Laura slowly got to meet Mike's family, but was a big hit to all. East Windsor and a passion for working with elementary children brought the couple together, but they also share similar loves of life - time at the beach, physical activity, and time with family. The fun continued for over a year, when Mike decided to ask the big question to Laura during the first month of school - Yes, the busiest time of year. Mike proposed to Laura at the Manasquan Inlet on a perfect night. He asked the question, " so what do you think?" and Laura responded, "of course!"......Very excited to celebrate down the shore with family and friends........Cheers to the celebration!
