Toyosi's Version: Tyler and I met during my last semester of dental school in early 2022. We had matched on Hinge and met for the first time in-person less than 3 weeks later. Tyler was based in Raleigh, but I was completing a clinical rotation about 5 hours west in Sylva, NC. Since we both enjoy the mountains, we decided to meet in Asheville to spend the weekend exploring and adventuring together. Ever since that weekend, the mountains have held a special place in our relationship and connection to each other. Fast forward to June 3, 2023, Tyler surprised me with the most incredible proposal at the NC State Arboretum, where I said "yes" to a lifetime filled with more trips to the mountains and even more wonderful memories to create together. I'm so excited that we will get to begin the next chapter of forever and celebrate our union in a place that feels so special to us and our love story. Tyler's Version: It started with a long distance between us both. She was in the mountains on rotation, I was still living in Raleigh. We first met in Asheville where we spent the weekend together. She only had a few weeks before moving back to Greenville, but I was anxious to see her. We spent the weekend exploring, eating new foods, and learning everything we could about one another. The weekend ended quickly, but our journey together had only just begun. Since that day we have traveled to multiple states together, eaten more varieties of food than we can count, spent countless hours talking to each other, and enjoying every minute we get to spend with one another. To say it's been amazing is putting it lightly. The journey has been incredible. I look forward to the many years we get to share together creating memories that will last forever and building a future we get to share with one another.
