JJ and Josh have been friends since they attended the same junior high school in Sammamish. Since then, they have been inseparable, talking almost every day. JJ works as a marriage and family therapist in Puyallup and hopes to move there soon with his girlfriend AJ.
Rachel Toycen

Rachel is Emily's younger sister as well as one of her closest friends. Rachel works at American Eagle and lives with friends in Covington, WA.

Nick has been there for Josh through some of the hardest times. Strong willed and outspoken, Nick has remained a loyal and crucial pillar to his life for over a decade (and counting!). Nick graduated from the University of Washington, and now works as a senior product support engineer, and lives in Kirkland.
Gabrielle Cooper

Gabby and Emily met working at Edgeworks and became fast friends, going on many adventures in the mountains together. Gabby is now in law school at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Hal Warren

Time flies when you’re with Hal. That’s because each moment with him feels like a blast. Hal and Josh share the same love for climbing and music, a passion that brought Hal all the way to Germany. He’s currently attending school there while also working part-time at a local gym.
Jayden Johnston
Bridesmaid
Jayden hired Emily at Edgeworks in 2021 and they have been friends ever since. Jayden has been an inspiration to Emily as a climbing guide and they always have a blast climbing together (even if things don't always go as planned). Jayden is still Emily's boss at Edgeworks, although has moved up quite a bit, and lives in Tacoma with her partner, Dean.
Evan Van Orsow

Evan met the couple through working at Edgeworks and has been friends with Emily and Josh for about 4 years. They have taken multiple climbing trips together, from local Washington climbs to El Potrero Chico, Mexico. Evan is currently in school to be an X-ray Technician.
