FAQ

We have added some COVID facts to help you understand the precautions we are taking. We hope you are still able to attend and join in the celebration but Joe and I completely understand if you feel that its best if you stay home, we will be sure to send you photos and will always celebrate you there in spirit!!!
Question

What Guidelines are you following?

Answer

We are going to be following all guidelines outlined by the State of Pennsylvania and Chester County, along with added measures suggested.

Question

What if I am not feeling well?

Answer

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY HOME if you are not feeling well! We are putting a lot of trust in our friends and family that everyone is being safe and following all guidelines since this is a SERIOUS THING!!!! We understand that you may RSVP yes but are VERY VERY OKAY if last minute you are unable, just be sure to let us know if your RSVP changes from a yes to a no!

Question

How many people can attend?

Answer

The wedding is outdoors, per the state of Pennsylvania all outdoor events (including weddings) can have up to 250 people. (Dont worry we dont plan to have that many people!!!)

Question

Want to HighFive or Not?

Answer

We will have bracelets available that each guest can choose to wear to signify the comfort level on that day. Each bracelet will help the Bride and Groom (and other guests) know how to approach one another. The 3 levels will be: - Ok with High-fives and Hugs - Ok with standing closer but no touching - I would like to keep some distance No judgement will be made to any guest for their choice but we felt this would be an easy way for everyone to communicate non-verbally and no one will have to explain themselves!

Question

What about the Ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is outside. We are going to do our best to spread out everyone and we highly suggest that same-households and close trusted friends sit together to try to keep social distancing. We also do understand that many people may choose to stand instead of being seated and we are okay with that!!

Question

What about the Reception?

Answer

The reception will be outdoors also, we will have a large tent to block out the sun. Tables will be 6 ft apart. We once again are going to do our best with seating you with close friends and same-households to avoid contact with others. We also are planning to do smaller groups at tables. There also will be space outside the tent during the reception that our guests can spread out, play games and chat with more space. If during the reception, you would rather eat or watch events from afar we are okay if you choose to not sit in the designated spot and choose to stand or sit on our picnic tables outside the tent.

Question

How will you keep everyone safe?

Answer

1) We will be providing masks. 2) We will be serving all food buffet style. A server will serve you food from the buffet line to avoid person to person contact. 3) When possible, we will be providing self-service grabbing of canned drinks to avoid person to person touching or lines. 4) We will have hand sanitizer around to use but do encourage everyone to bring their own and to continuously wash hands when using bathrooms. 5) We are going to have activities and seating outside the tent in order for guests to spread out.

Question

What if I have suggestions or questions?

Answer

PLEASE contact us! Planning a wedding during a pandemic is unprecedented and Joe and I both doing our best to continue our lives but still keep you and ourselves safe. If you have other suggestions, we are SO HAPPY to hear them since they will most likely benefit us all. Or if you have specific questions, normally people say don't contact the bride but I actually do encourage you to as I want to be sure we all have the same and correct information.

For all the days along the way
