What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and jackets and slacks. Put simply, come dressed to impress!

Where is the wedding located?
Answer
The wedding will be held outside at Stony Knoll Vineyards in Dobson, NC.

Where is the reception at?
Answer
The reception dinner will be at a local restaurant, Southern on Main in Elkin, NC. The dinner will be in a covered outside patio area It is approximately 23 minutes from Stony Knoll.

What will the weather be like this time of year?
Answer
We expect the weather to be humid (it is NC after all), but comfortable for guests. Please be sure to dress comfortably as we will be outside.

What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bride and groom will be taking photos and guests will be able to visit the tasting room for their complimentary wine-tasting. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available for non-drinkers as well. *Wine is also available for purchase

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM sharp. We recommend that you arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure everyone is on time and ready for the ceremony to begin.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Answer
There will be free parking available on-site at Stony Knoll. Free parking is available on the side streets for Southern on Main.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
While we would love to invite more people, only those who received an invite will be allowed at the wedding and subsequent events.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
Everyone attending the wedding MUST RSVP. The final date to RSVP is February 28, 2022. All RSVPs will be completed online.

Will food and drinks be served? What kind of food?
Answer
A complimentary wine tasting will be available for those who request it (through the RSVP) after the ceremony and wine will be available for purchase at Stony Knoll. Dinner will be provided for guests at Southern on Main. The dinner menu will have options for all dietary restrictions. The style of food will be Southern cuisine.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Answer
Absolutely. If you have any dietary restrictions, be sure to note them in the appropriate area on your RSVP.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the ceremony and reception dinner?
Answer
Not at this time. If you need transportation accommodations, let us know ASAP.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
We would really like for everyone to enjoy being present in the moment at the ceremony, and we've already hired someone to take pictures at the wedding. If you would like to take any pictures, we'd ask that you take them before or after the ceremony. Please do not post any pictures from the wedding ceremony. We'd like to share them on our own time :-). Feel free to share pictures from the reception or cocktail hour.

How are you handling COVID?
Answer
We want to provide the safest experience for all guests, so we ask that everyone be tested for COVD at least 5 days before the wedding (regardless of vaccination status). This is to protect everyone who will be in attendance.

Where can we get a (PCR) COVID test before the wedding?
Answer
CVS and Walgreens offer free COVID testing, and you can make appointments! https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing https://www.walgreens.com/topic/findcare/coronavirus.jsp Your county may also offer free local testing--check with your board of health!

Due to COVID-related safety concerns, we decided to just stick with the ceremony and reception.
