It was just a few days before my birthday in May 2009, and the universe decided to play matchmaker in the most unexpected place: The apartment parking lot. Randy had just gotten a new car and was proudly clicking the alarm like it was Fort Knox. I couldn’t help but tease him: “No one’s going to steal your car!” That little jab sparked a quick conversation, and I instantly noticed his gorgeous smile (seriously, those teeth!). We both walked away, I didn't think I’d be seeing him again. A few days later, someone broke Randy’s apartment window. Naturally, he knocked on my door—half joking, half curious—and asked, “Was it you?” Then, with that same charming grin, he offered to take me out to celebrate my birthday. That spontaneous invite turned into our first date… and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From a parking lot tease to a lifetime of love, laughter, and inside jokes we never saw it coming, but we’re so glad it did.
