¡Nos Vamos A Casar!

We met in High School, sophomore year to be exact. I saw Toby wearing a Metallica shirt and I was like "wow who is that?", I immediately developed a crush on him, yeah I know it’s odd since I didn’t know him but something in me was like “that boy will be mine”. I met some new friends at the time, Juan, Eric, Aaron, Rene and a few others, turns out that they were SUPER close friends to Toby. I had class with them and I would tell them I had a crush on a guy and somehow they put 2 and 2 together and thanks to them we both had the courage to FINALLY talk to each other. So, boys from the bottom of my heart, thank you eternally for giving me that push to talk to my soon to be HUSBAND! (P.S. I asked him to be my boyfriend) -Cori It was our sophomore year in high school, a time where I was very unsure about my future, of course I was just a kid. That was until I saw Cori in one of my classes with some of our friends. I was very nervous to approach her, since I'm not the type to be outgoing, but something inside me kept saying to just talk to her. Obviously, I was immediately attracted to her beautiful emo self, but what lied underneath the looks was my future best friend/soulmate. Someone that I can talk about anything with, just a beautiful human being with a beautiful soul. However, as we kept talking as friends, I wanted to make things official, so naturally I took her to the fanciest restaurant I could afford, Subway as our first date. Ever since then, I knew that I wanted to spend my life with her. Now, I can finally say that I put a ring on it, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for the both of us in this new chapter of our lives. -Toby

Toby's family and I went on a trip to New Orleans for my 22nd birthday. We went sight seeing, eating amazing foods, the whole tourist thing. On the day after my birthday we went to visit the St. Louis Cathedral (10/10 recommend such a beautiful historical sight). We went to see the beauty inside, and we prayed of course, as I was praying I was having anxiety and I really needed a sign that God was with me. So I prayed, I wanted a sign that our relationship was on the right track. We step out of the cathedral and Toby's mom (Jessica) tricks me into taking a picture with her but we're facing the cathedral doing a heart with our arms. I turn around and Toby was on HIS KNEE, he asked me to marry him and the first thing to come out of my mouth was "Are you serious?", I was stunned BUT MAN DOES GOD WORK FAST! That was the confirmation I was looking for. -Cori
