2016: +The Royals (aka Tovah and Aytch) met as Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) advisors and become fast friends due to their love of the out doors and advocating for youth. 2017: +Tovah now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. +The Royals fall slightly out of touch until Aytch visits Tovah in NV. +They quickly learn they want to be more than friends. +Letters are sent via snail mail, while Aytch works in Wilderness Therapy, has no service for 15 days a month, and Tovah continues to teach in NV. +They begin to weigh the pros and cons of long distance, timing, and feelings. +Tovah realizes NV isn't the home for her and returns to the PNW and heads to Tacoma, Washington. +Aytch finishes wilderness therapy and heads south of Seattle to...Tacoma, WA. +The new couple take a leap of faith and embraces the relationship, in a new city with new challenges-and full of excitement. 2018: +To everyone's surprise, (well, aside from Tovah and Aytch) things are going smooth and steady. +They begin to travel the world, hike through the wilderness, and start to take life a bit more seriously together. Feeling all the feels. +With a little bit of thought-they purchase their forever home together in Tacoma! 2019: +Tov and Aytch continue to thrive-living life to fullest and exploring all they can. +Nala embraces Tovah as her new adoptive human, the family officially extends to a family of three. 2020: +Aytch decides this relationship is their forever relationship, and hopes Tovah decides it is too! +In a super secret plan, Aytch revamps Tovah's grandmother's engagement ring, carries it across the world to Thailand (literally terrified of losing it at every step), and asks Tovah if she wants to do this life together, forever. With many tears, and no response for nearly 10 seconds-Tovah said yes on 1/3/2020. +They add a little 'Dood head named Quinn Paxton to the family, and Nala finally becomes the big sister she was always meant to be. The family becomes four. 2022: Wedding time!
