For our out-of-town guests, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. If you prefer being outdoors and flying down the mountain on skis or a snowboard, you can check out one of the major ski resorts in the area. There are also numerous winter hiking trails to take photographs on and admire the beauty of the area. If you would rather have a day of shopping, you can check out Downtown Truckee or take the short drive to the Reno/ Sparks area. You also can't miss taking the drive over to Lake Tahoe while you are here!
