Traveling from sea level? We highly recommend arriving early and spending a night in Denver before heading up to the mountains. Our ceremony and reception are at over 11,000 feet elevation, and proper altitude adjustment is important for both comfort and safety!

House Or Rental

Airbnb & VRBO Rentals

A variety of rental accommodations are available at the base of Copper Mountain. We have arranged a room block through the Copper Lodging Program and encourage guests to take advantage of this option first. For those who prefer to stay off-site, the nearby town of Frisco is just 10–15 minutes away via I-70. Please keep in mind that mountain driving at night—especially after a celebration—can be challenging, and ride shares are very limited in the area. We kindly ask that you plan ahead and travel responsibly.

Travel Note

Altitude Adjustment

Our ceremony and reception will take place at over 11,000 feet elevation in the Colorado mountains. For guests traveling from lower elevations or sea level, altitude sickness is something to take seriously. Symptoms can range from mild headaches and fatigue to more severe illness requiring hospitalization, and it can affect anyone regardless of age or fitness level. To help your body adjust comfortably and safely, we strongly encourage arriving in Colorado a day early and spending a night in Denver before heading up to Copper Mountain. Staying hydrated, limiting alcohol while acclimating, and taking it easy your first day at elevation can also make a big difference. We want everyone to feel their best and fully enjoy the celebration weekend!

Flight

Denver International Airport

The easiest airport to fly into is Denver International Airport (DIA). From there, Copper Mountain is about a 1.5–2 hour drive. We recommend renting a car for convenience, though a few shuttle services also travel between the airport and Copper Mountain. Rideshares may be limited in the area.
