As I'm sure many of you have noticed on your Save the Dates, our wedding website isn't something simple like our names put together. It's actually something related to the night of our engagement. Okay, now that we know that the Nicotine Dolls helped out, the song that they played was "Touch the Ground" off of their debut album 'an Attempt at Romantic' (highly recommend that you listen to it). This band has been with us since we started dating back in 2022 and will continue to be a part of our lives.

There are many stories that we like to tell about our relationship but one of the few we hardly get to tell is about our very first date. As many people already know we matched on Bumble and had talked for about two weeks before getting to one of the biggest deal breaker questions in the modern dating scene. Does pineapple belong on pizza? Thankfully both of us had the same answer which begged me to add-on to the conversation on more obscure toppings. One of my personal favorites is the cucumbers you can add at Mellow Mushroom. Of course with something so unique you gotta at least try and bring people into the light of how it's texture and not flavor. It was the perfect way to set up a date. The quirky girl shows the down-to-earth guy a unique twist on pizza. The date is set and the rest is history and now every anniversary we go to a Mellow Mushroom in the area and get at least one small pie of: cucumber, pineapple, and onion.
