We were each other's "most compatible match of the day", and Hinge's algorithm seemed to get it right! Ryan messaged Jen first (ever the chivalrous gentlemen) claiming "Hinge must know what he likes", and #funfact Jen's besties crashed their first date in spy-mode. After a few dates our apps were deleted and rest is history!

July 4th is a super special day to us! This is what we have always considered as our anniversary, and exactly 1 year later is when Ryan got down on one knee. We were spending the weekend with family and friends at his Dad's lakehouse in Grandbury. Already used to the Totsch family traditions, Jen didn't think anything of taking a group family photo down on the dock. The first thing Jen said after she realized Ryan was proposing was "You're really doing this while I have no makeup on?!", and if that isn't an accurate representation of their relationship, I don't know what is.
