Our story starts with the year 2018 in Macon, GA where we met at the United States Army Reserves unit. Our first encounter began with your basic greeting and afterwards we carried on with the duties of the day. It wasn't until 2021 when our conversation extended past something more than a greeting between a familiar face and contact with each other through mutual friends. As the year continued, we began to grow an actual friendship that entailed going out to dinner, frequent communication, and inebriated nights with our close friends. The friendship extended into 2022 and up until early 2023 where we then became a couple. We had a long-distance relationship in where we had recurring talks about our future together, individual goals, and ways that we could make the most of our time together. The long-distance situation came to end in mid 2024 when Ke'Shawn made his career move to Atlanta, GA. The ideation of our future together became reality on October 5, 2024, when Ke'Shawn proposed. Now, get ready to celebrate our union November 2, 2025, in Jonesboro, GA as we become Mr. and Mrs. Ke'Shawn Devontae Jones.
