Wedding Party

Caitlin Toth Pfeiffer

Matron of Honor

Caitlin is Alyssa's sister - if you couldn't tell! Caitlin is the mother of 3 beautiful wild little ones but it's safe to say it feels like she has 4 when aunt Alyssa (aunt nay) is around. If you let Caitlin and Alyssa together long enough they'll finish each other sentences with just a look.. and then likely an uncontrollable giggle.

Ashley Mast

Bridesmaid

Ashley is Eddie's sister. Alyssa quickly understood why Ashley hid the good snacks and stopped walking near trees after rain or snow (for fear of having the tree branch pulled over your head). Ashley shares the feeling of gaining another child when uncle Eddie comes over.

Mallory O'Rourke

Bridesmaid

Mallory is one of Alyssa's best friends from home. Alyssa and Mallory met one time, spent 3 days in a row together and have been inseparable ever since. From farm fields to athletic fields, they've had some fun. Be prepared - Mallory will make you giggle and then hard belly laugh.

Katie Earhart

Bridesmaid

Katie is also one of Alyssa's best friends from home. Alyssa and Katie met early in elementary school, caused some shenanigans, and passed endless notes. Christmas in July was our favorite holiday. Keeping with a theme, distance is no match for giggles.

Tomeka Greene

Bridesmaid

Tomeka is Alyssa's best friend from college. What started off as needing a partner in a Health and PhysED genEd course, turned into gaining an amazing friend. We've come a long way from late night McDonalds and ballet 101. Tomeka continued to show up for Alyssa even with a transfer to Bloomsburg. It just meant double the fun school events and having LHU represent at block party.

Emily Young

Bridesmaid

Emily is one of the dog mom friends. Alyssa adopted Emily (and Dakota) when living at an apartment complex in Carlisle. They would see each other walking everyday, the dogs wanted to say hi, and they become great friends from their daily walks. Since moving from the apartment, the dog moms have continued to walk and get together - most times in better walking conditions (aka always involving a Home Goods).

Shelbi Ritchie

Bridesmaid

Shelbi is another dog mom adoption. Originally Shelbi's spouse was walking Ivy and while getting to know him was great, Alyssa and Emily slowly started to walk later and later so we could catch Shelbi after work. It's wasn't long before Shelbi joined the dog mom walks and decided we should add food to the situation. Every group needs a Slytherin.

Miranda Long

Bridesmaid

Miranda was the final adoption into the dog mom friends. Miranda didn't have a dog at the time however, Alyssa had noticed they lived in the same complex and worked at the same hospital. Alyssa decided people without dogs can still go for walks and thought we could entice her with cute dogs. Luckily we had appetizers to offer and Miranda graciously didn't feel stranger danger.

Zach Snyder

Best Man

Zach, Zbo, Bo Bo, Bam Bam, Bo Sniz, Bo Skeet, Skeet Skeet.. those are just a few of the nicknames one could hear Ed shouting in a crowded La Piazza when trying to get his best friend (and now best man's) attention. The two played high school sports together but grew closer after graduation when they were forced to find an off-season workout buddy during the summer months home from college. What started as two guys running routes together turned into Ed relying on Zbo for just about everything. From dating advice to DIY house projects, there's nothing that Ed can't call on Zach for when he needs a helping hand. Historically, when Ed has disregarded Zach's advice- things have gone poorly. When Ed listens to Zach- things tend to work out. Zach and his wife Sam were the first of Eddie's friends to meet Alyssa after they started dating. After their first double date Zach said to Ed "she seems nice, don't screw this one up.." Ed has been trying to heed that advice ever since.

Jon Resch

Groomsman

This Top Gun wannabe is Ed's High School Quarterback and longtime friend Jon Resch. Quick "Reschy" story: Ed's first ever high school touchdown was a pass thrown by Jon Resch. Ed remembers the play vividly. As he ran into the endzone he expected to hear the roar of the crowd and to see his teammates rushing to congratulate him. Instead he looked back from the endzone to see Reschy, laying on the ground... faking an injury. Jon put on this big show flopping around until an EMS crew finally carted him off the field. No one even remembered that Eddie scored a touchdown... Jon would later be diagnosed with a lacerated spleen and missed the rest of the season. Ed secretly believes Jon did all this just to steal the spotlight. Jon's been pulling stuff like this ever since.

Sheldon Griffin

Groomsman

Ed & Sheldon met in 9th grade Algebra class when Sheldon moved to Lititz from Pittsburgh. Sheldon being 6 ft. 5" tall- Ed thought it would be a good idea to talk Sheldon into trying out for the basketball team. The team was 4 and 18 the year before, and Ed thought having Sheldon as a fellow starter would help generate some wins. Sheldon went on to have a decorated High School, College, and Semi-Professional basketball career. Ed sat the bench his senior year and cheered on his buddy Sheldon.

Mike McDonnell

Groomsman

Mike McDonnell and Ed first met while playing tee ball when they were 6 years old. They've remained close friends ever since, and there's not a city night out that doesn't involve Mike, Sheldon, or a combination of the two. Mike and Ed are currently on the same duckpin bowling team at the Elks. Ed had to beg Mikey to join when he needed an extra bowler 3 years ago. At this point if you asked Mikey to pick between duckpin bowling or his friendship with Ed... Mikey would delete Ed's number without a second thought.

Matt Daggett

Groomsman

If you ask Matt Daggett, Ed would not have gotten a single job as a lawyer without Matt's tutelage. The two met when Ed was an intern at the Lancaster District Attorney's office. The two later worked together at a different law firm. Their working relationship consists of Matt making fun of Ed in front of clients to establish a pecking order. While Ed talks Matt off the ledge when he over worries about office politics. Ed learned early on that there is no one that enjoys work gossip more than Matt Daggett. If you want something to remain a secret, make sure Matt is the last to know. (Matt was the last to know that Eddie got engaged).

Neil Pladus

Groomsman

Neil is Ed's cousin on his mom's side. When they were younger, Neil would do whatever he could to needle his older cousin. He changed his twitter name and bio just to imitate Ed's twitter name and bio... Ed was a Phillies fan, so Neil started cheering for the Phillies. Ed went to law school, so naturally Neil had to go to law school as well. Sure Neil got a higher LSAT score and went to the prestigious Univ. of Georgetown, but let's not get bogged down in the details. Once every 5 years or so Neil thinks Ed is finally out-of-shape enough for Neil to beat him in a wresting match and/or foot race. Neil has never beaten Ed in a wrestling match or foot race.

Nate Mast

Groomsman

Nate is Ed's brother-in-law, or more affectionately referred to as Ed's "bro-lo-el-cunuado." Nate and Ed first met while working at High's Sports (a family fun complex) during their college years. Ed got his job at High's the good ole fashion way... pure nepotism (his sister Ashley worked there since High School). Nate got his job the exact same way (his sister Amy worked there with Ashley for years). As the nepo-brothers, Nate and Ed could be seen working weekends side by side at the Go-Kart Track. During their downtime Ed would hand polish each of the karts. Nate watched movies on a portable DVD player he stashed at the shop. Nate would also constantly want to drive over to the mini golf building to see what Ed's sister and the other attendants were up to... It took mere months for Ed to figure out why. Ed has been third-wheeling with Ashley & Nate ever since.
