You could say it was love at first swipe... Natalie and Chad met on Bumble a few days before she graduated college in May of 2018. Their first date consisted of church on Sunday morning, followed by lunch, a coffee shop, wine tasting, walking the canal, and a lot of conversation (and of those who know Chad probably know he did most of the talking). Weeks go by and they were inseparable, spending the summer attending concerts, exploring downtown Indy, and Chad adding a puppy to the mix. Their love story continues today after recently building a house and preparing to tie the knot in September!
Y'all are probably wondering, "why Nashville?" - we'll break it down for you. Natalie and Chad's love for country music runs deep. Their first trip together was to Nashville, TN for CMA Fest the summer after they met. Many trips to Nashville later and they turned to each other and thought, "why don't we get married here?". With family and friends coming from all over the US (and possibly the world), they want YOU to have just as much fun during their wedding weekend as they do. Whether it's catching up with family you haven't seen for months at an Airbnb or staying out until 2 AM on Broadway, they also thought of you in this decision. Though Thompson's Station is a little outside the Nashville area, you'll see below why Natalie and Chad decided on their wedding venue.
Natalie and Chad's wedding venue is so much more than a venue to them. Finding it was full of God winks, or God moments you could call them, so they wanted to share with you: From the moment Natalie drove up, she knew there was something different about this venue. It was obvious that there was an overwhelming peace there that they hadn’t felt at any other venue her and Chad toured yet. The historical home on the property is full of scripture, which was one of the first moments she knew that God had them in the right spot — and it only continued. The venue is prayed over daily and weekly by Hope UC Nashville, who purchased the property during 2020 and have since built a place that fosters community. Specifically 1819 Coffee, the coffee shop on the property, and their mission is more than inspiring — to decrease rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide by creating a space for community. Since deciding they were getting married here, they have gotten the chance to visit and spend time at Hope UC for one of their services, where God’s confirmation was all over their decision to start their marriage at Homestead Manor. They look forward to visiting the venue any time they're visiting Nashville, and plan to visit with their future children. They can't wait for you to experience the venue in September!
