For those flying in, SFO is the closest airport to the city, though Oakland (OAK) is also a great option and can sometimes be easier or more affordable. From either airport, you can get into San Francisco via rideshare, taxi, rental car, or public transit (BART from SFO and OAK connections into the city are both straightforward).

We have reserved a hotel block in Japantown, one of San Francisco’s most central and walkable neighborhoods. It’s surrounded by some of our favorite restaurants, cafés, and local spots, and offers a calmer, safer atmosphere than the busier downtown and Union Square areas. It’s also just a quick 10–15 minute drive from our venue. Please enjoy utilizing this block if you’d rather not spend time hunting for your own lodging and trust our recommendation for a great home base while you’re in the city.
