Our Story
We first met in 2019 in my black Honda Sport when Petar’s best friend, Ace, called me to pick them up from a house in Crown Point. Petar greeted me with one of the most awkward handshakes I’ve ever experienced.
Later that night, I was invited to the Bajmakoski residence. As Petar likes to say, “She turned the corner and I instantly fell in love.” Everyone was playing beer pong, and Petar eventually gathered the courage to talk to me. We spent the entire night talking and quickly realized there was something special between us.
We exchanged numbers, and although he lived in Ohio and I lived in Indiana, we stayed in constant contact. Petar even came back later that summer. Months later, we met again at Convention 2019 in Buffalo, New York, where on September 3rd, 2019, Petar asked me to be his girlfriend. Six years later, every mile has been worth it.
