we're getting married!

As many single 20-somethings with a smart-phone do, Renee and Eric downloaded a dating app. They matched on OkCupid in September of 2017. The school year was starting up again and Renee was preparing to delete the app to focus on teaching, Eric prompted her with this opening line; "Hey, nice dalek tattoo, who's your favorite Doctor?" (in reference to the show Doctor Who). And with that, the rest is history.

Almost four years to the date of their first interaction, Eric mustered the courage to ask this life altering question. He's not one to mince words, but he got the question out after a dinner and walk along the Nautical Mile with Best Man Mike and his girlfriend Melissa. . Renee made him sweat a bit for an answer, but almost immediately responded with an "Of course!"
