Tory and Tristan both interviewed for a summer job at the YMCA in Stuart, Florida. Tory just finished her first year of college at UCF and Tristan was graduating from Martin County high school. Before starting the job Tristan messaged Tory on Twitter wishing her a happy birthday and asked her for her number. Tory thanked him and stated "Nah you're not cool enough". After a couple messages, Tory decided to exchange numbers. Tory then asked Tristan out on a date. Tristan stated that he was too busy and after three times they finally went out on their first date. Tory and Tristan met at the Treasure Coast Movie theatre and watched "The Fault in our Stars" where Tristan states that she cried the whole time. This is where they had their first kiss. After this Tory asked Tristan over to her father's and brother's birthday celebration where Tristan met the entire Glenn Family. Since then the two have been inseparable!

Tristan planned a beautiful proposal with the help from her family and friends. Before popping the question Tristan contacted her father and asked for his blessing. After receiving the blessing he then called her mom and she cried. He also called all three brothers and let them know that he was going to propose to their sister and all three were excited. The plan started with Tristan setting up a scavenger hunt to all of their favorite spots. So, on November 6th, a Friday, after school, Tory was meeting her best friend at the nail salon. Upon arriving Tory was met by two other best friends and received her first note. The note read "go meet the blessing that came into your life the day before your 25th birthday". This led her to her niece Layla's house. Here, she was greeted by Layla and Layla's mom with clothes to change into. Layla then presented Auntie Tory with a second note. This note stated "go have a drink at the place we celebrated buying our house". This led her and her friends to the Boat House in Downtown Stuart where she was greeted by more friends. At this spot, after a few cocktails, she was given the third note. The note stated "go to the park where we clear our minds". This park was their favorite place they would go when life stresses were upon them. Then, her best friend presented the last card which said "meet me at the place where our favorite four legged munchkin likes to play and bite very hard". This final card brought Tory to the home they purchased earlier in the year. Upon arriving she was blindfolded. Little did Tory know that Tristan had invited his family, Tory's family, and their best friends along to celebrate the proposal. Tory was led down a candlelit path, while the song 'Big Big Plans' by Chris Lane was playing, where Tristan was waiting for her. Tristan took off her blindfold and at this moment, got down on one knee and proposed.
