On the morning on March 23, 2019 we were having our usual Saturday breakfast until the very end. Tre kept asking me that morning if we were going to have a good day. I kept saying sure but if you keep asking I’m saying no. My nail broke on my middle finger left hand in the middle of breakfast. I was complaining about it and how it broke right in the middle and was feeling jagged. He then grabs my finger and says “I can’t fix that one but I can fix this one”. (As he grabbed my ring finger). He got down on his knee and then asked me to marry him. This man knows my heart. He knows I didn’t want some grand big gesture and that I just wanted a sweet memorable proposal. And he couldn’t of picked a better more memorable way to propose. Saturday breakfast is my favorite. We all wake up later than usual and sit at our table and enjoy each others presence without rushing to get anywhere. It’s my favorite foods and I love hanging with my girls and him. This man has my whole heart. His grandfather Robert said it best today and in the most meaningful way. He said we deserve each other. He laughed and said that could be a good thing or bad thing. But he said we remind him of a young version of him and his wife who have been married for 52 years. He said that we finished each others sentences. And that’s true. Thank you Tre for loving me and the girls and making us so happy. I can’t wait!
