If you haven’t traveled much, we recommend staying at a chain hotel. If you want a more authentic Puerto Rico experience, consider booking an Airbnb in San Juan. We’ve stayed in several Airbnbs and had great experiences—people are friendly, and every location we visited felt generally safe.
Depending on the length of your stay in Puerto Rico, you may want to rent a vehicle to explore beyond San Juan and experience more of what the island has to offer. Just be sure to choose a rental company located at the airport—some are off-site, which would require an Uber and add unnecessary hassle. If you plan to stay primarily in San Juan, using Uber throughout your trip will work perfectly fine.
Semi-formal attire. Tropical colors are encouraged if you’re able to incorporate them.
Assuming everyone books their stay in San Juan, your commute should be no longer than 20 minutes from your hotel to the wedding venue.
