FAQs

Question

When should I plan to arrive in Ireland?

Answer

We recommend arriving a few days early to adjust to the time change and enjoy the local area. We will be arriving on Monday, 9/27/27 or Tuesday, 9/28/27.

Question

What should I do if I’m traveling internationally?

Answer

Make sure your passport is up to date, check visa requirements, and plan your flights early.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have solidified our room block at Temple Bar Hotel, but if you prefer to stay at a different hotel or an Airbnb please feel free to book what works best for you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at an ancient chapel ruin tucked within a woodland setting, surrounded by nature, history, and a little bit of Irish magic. We recommend attire that feels elegant yet comfortable, with the outdoors in mind. Suggested Attire: Women: Flowing dresses, midi or maxi lengths, or elegant jumpsuits. Block heels, wedges, flats, or dressy boots are strongly encouraged, as the ground may be uneven. Men: Suits or dress trousers with a button-down shirt. Ties are welcome but optional. Comfortable dress shoes or boots are recommended. For Everyone: The terrain may include grass, stone, or gravel — please plan footwear accordingly. Weather in Ireland can be unpredictable, so a light jacket, shawl, or wrap is a great idea.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to space limitations at our ceremony and reception, we are only able to host a maximum of 30 guests. This means not everyone will be able to bring a plus-one for the main events. Your invitation will indicate whether a plus-one is included. However, if you’d like to bring someone along for your Ireland trip, they are more than welcome to join in for all other activities, including the welcome event, sightseeing, and after-party celebrations. We can’t wait to celebrate this weekend with all of you!
