To: Antione- In God’s Perfect Timing

From the moment my sister Terrika Wadelington introduced us back in the early 2000’s, something in me knew you would be part of my story. Though the timing wasn’t right at first, we stayed connected — and in time, God brought us back together exactly when we needed each other most. You were persistent and intentional, patient and steady. You taught me what it means to love with purpose. I’ve grown so much because of you — as a woman, a partner, and a mother. I love that beneath your strength, there’s a softness that only those closest to you get to see. I love the way you love your family, and how you’ve embraced mine as your own. Through every season, with faith, patience, and laughter. I promise to protect our peace, nurture our love, and never stop choosing you. Love is work, but love is also enough. It protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres. And with you, I know love never fails. Torri

To: Torri- The Love I Prayed For

When I first met Torri, I knew there was something special about her. From the start, our connection felt easy — like we had known each other forever. The timing back then wasn’t quite right, but she never left my mind. Years later, God gave me another chance, and I wasn’t about to let it slip away. I was intentional — I knew what I wanted. When we finally went on our first official date at Outwest Steakhouse, I remember thinking, this could really be it. Then came the moment I’ll never forget — I caught the flu, and Torri showed up to take care of me. That’s when I realized this woman’s heart was pure gold. She didn’t have to stay, but she did. From that point on, I knew she was the one I’d been praying for. Torri makes me a better man. She’s strong, caring, and grounded in faith. She challenges me to grow and loves me with a kind of patience and loyalty I’d only dreamed about. And the way she loves my family — and allows me to love hers, — means everything to me. Our love has taught me that real love takes work, faith, and forgiveness. It’s not about perfection; it’s about choosing each other — every single day. With her, I have peace, purpose, and a love that never fails.
