Near and dear to Torrey and Kymberly's hearts...come worship at their church! Saturday evening service begins at 4 pm. There are 3 on Sundays (8:30, 10:15, and noon). All services are identical. Don't forget to stop at the guest tent and let them know you are guests of the Jaspers!
Get a feel of an old fashioned western town. Pan for gold, watch a bunch of scoundrel have a shootout Saturdays and Sundays, go on a mining tour, or visit a reptile exhibit. (Very family friendly.) (Free admission and parking. Attractions have additional cost)
Take a slow 6-mile cruise on Canyon Lake where hopefully you will see desert bighorn sheep, bald eagles, and a host of other animals. (Very family friendly.)
Put on some great walking shoes and go explore the 135 acres of desert gardens. You can spend many hours here! (Very family friendly.)
One of Torrey and Kymberly's favorite spots...enjoy the desert plants throughout your leisurely walk. Especially dear to their hearts is to return December evenings for Las Noches de Las Luminaries where they turn the desert into a glow with luminaries and twinkling holiday lights with musical performances all around the gardens. (We recommend this for adults.)
During the daytime hours enjoy all of the animals at the zoo. In the evening, this time of year, check out the longstanding tradition of ZooLights where the entire park is lit up with Christmas light displays. (Very family friendly, day or night.)
Whether you have great golf skills or not, at TopGolf you are bound to have a fun time. This outdoor, 3-story climate controlled bay has seating all around and a staff member that tends to you in case you want food or drink delivered to your spot while you enjoy time with your party. (Pay by the hour. Very family friendly.)
Our local, professional theatre in the round has shows playing all the time. Every seat is great and always wholesome fun. And it's right across the tiny street from our Gilbert water tower where Torrey proposed. (Very family friendly.)
There are many hiking trails on this desert mountain with a small free for parking. (Peralta trail is very popular amongst many more.) Take a peek at Alltrails to pick one good for you and your family. Don't forget plenty of water...even this time of year!
Bowling, laser tag, virtual reality, billiards, arcade games, gravity ropes, escape rooms, etc. right in our hometown of Gilbert (across the street from the two Gilbert hotels mentioned and next to Top Golf). (Very family friendly.)
