We're getting married!

Adriana and Alejandro attended the same private Catholic high school. Adriana knew who Alejandro was her freshman year, but they never spoke. By sophomore year, they found themselves in almost all the same classes and that’s when everything began. In English class, their desks were parallel, and conversations came easily. Alejandro listened attentively, always fully present, while Adriana’s warmth and confidence slowly drew him out of his shell. In social studies, he sat in front of her and would secretly tie her shoelaces to the metal book basket under his chair. She wouldn’t notice until the bell rang and she tried to stand up. It became their inside joke, those little harmless pranks that made everyday school life unforgettable. Adriana was the first to admit her feelings. Alejandro was shy at the beginning, but he felt the same way. What began as friendship quickly grew into something meaningful; built on laughter, respect, and genuine care for one another. In May 2017, at the Saint Anthony of Padua Parish Fair, Alejandro asked Adriana to be his girlfriend on the Ferris wheel. That same month, Adriana met his mom at a school event, and on May 21st, she met his dad and brothers for the first time. Even before they officially began dating, their lives were already beginning to intertwine. Since then, they have grown up together. What started in a high school classroom has turned into a partnership rooted in kindness, patience, faith, and deep love. Through every season, they have chosen one another again and again, trusting that God was writing their story long before they realized it. Alejandro will always be incredibly special to Adriana. She is so grateful for the boy who made her laugh in class and even more grateful for the man he has become! He is her best friend, her heart, and her amazing, loving, soon-to-be husband.
