We're Getting Married!!

We met briefly through our mutual friend Katherine Bigelow who has invited us to parties and other get-togethers. We must have had a really good conversation in 2011 because we were added as Facebook friends, and kept in touch from afar. Fast forward in April 2019, Steven shared his weight loss journey, Bethany was proud and caught up with life. Bethany came down for her high school 10-year reunion in June, Steven asked if he can help and also catch up again in person in Starbucks at Disney Springs, and the rest is history!

They knew the moment of reacquaintance that they were meant to be married. Steven planned for a Disney Date for one of their upcoming monthaversary's. He got blessed by one of his co-workers with free tickets. Once in the park, he took Bethany inside for breakfast, and after walking around and exploring for the right spot, They "stumbled" upon Cinderella's wishing well. Steven asked if Bethany had a coin and she dug around her pouch for two pennies (Steven never carried change). They made their wish and he sat her at the bench nearby. After what seemed like an eternity he said, "You've waited long enough." He got down on one knee, and popped the question! There was an EMPHATIC "YES!" That rang across the entire park! Tears were shed! What joy! Suddenly a group of tourists came by to take pictures and realized that they had stumbled on a wonderful event. they offered to do the couple's first photos! Then, they were met by Peter Pan and he lavished them with some tokens to start their journey together. It was completely magical...a fairy tale only God can write!
