Our story actually began long before our first date. Growing up, our paths crossed many times. Tori tried out for Alyssa’s softball team, we played basketball together in the same league, and our families lived close to each other. Even then, our lives were quietly overlapping. We officially met in January of 2020, just before the world changed. Our first date was a drive to Boulder in Tori’s old Camry. We got Sonic and planned to play basketball, but it started raining, so we stayed in the car and talked instead. It ended up being the perfect first date. We dated all through COVID and grew even closer during that time. When Tori left for college in Arizona, Alyssa stayed in Colorado, we did long distance for about a year. It was hard, but it showed us how strong our love really was. Eventually, Alyssa made the move to Arizona, and we have been together ever since. We built a life here and now own a home with our two dogs, Ivory and Jax, who we love dearly. What started as crossed paths and a rainy first date turned into a life we are so grateful for. Our love continues to grow, and we are so excited to spend forever together. 🤍💍
