Daniel and Michelle met in 2018 during Daniel's intern year of residency in Greenville, NC where Michelle was working as a medical interpreter. When Daniel's senior resident realized he spoke Spanish, he told him he had someone he wanted him to meet. In a devious display of matchmaking that would have made the Victorian mother of a Jane Austen protagonist proud, he devised a plan. When Michelle arrived in a patient's room to provide interpretation, the resident told Daniel that the same patient had a question and Daniel needed to get to the room immediately. When poor intern Daniel arrived with papers flying out of his white coat looking panicked, Michelle's look could be described as less-than-impressed. However, first impressions can thankfully be overcome and thus began a friendship that would grow into love. Since then, they've been on many adventures, including moving across the country to Idaho, hiking Angel's Landing at Zion National Park, learning to make pasta on the Amalfi Coast, and much more. They are so excited to celebrate this next and greatest adventure with you.
