It all started through a church event in Houston that the two attended called The Porch. Then they both got invited to a wedding of mutual friends and began to get to know each other there. A few months later Ben finally asked Hannah out on a date and they quickly realized they were meant for each other!

Ben took Hannah on a date to recreate their first date. They started off the night by going to Mod pizza and ordering the same thing they ordered on their first date. Afterwards, they went to a few different locations in Houston where they had gone on other dates and made memories. When it was almost sunset, they went to the museum district and walked for a MILE to get to the Houston Bean. It was quite a walk to say the least, but worth it! Once they reached the top of The Bean and could see Houston's skyline, they were welcomed by their friends and Hannah's parents. From then, Ben read to Hannah aloud the verse 1 Corinthians 3:4-8. Ben then got on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him! Hannah could not stop saying YES!! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Houston!
