Matron of Honor
Most sisters probably grow up envisioning this day their whole lives and playing wedding dress up as little girls. But Kate and I aren't most girls. We spent our days putting on our own musicals in our basement, recording duets, and singing karaoke. I look forward to stealing the mic from the DJ and singing a show tune or two on the dance floor. But before we can do that, I'll be honored to have her standing by my side while I marry the brother she never had!
Best Man
Aj and I met back in college when we both had no clue what we were going to be doing when we got older. Fast forward through a shared FSU national championship experience, the launch of 2 business ventures together and a few awesome golf trips have brought us to this incredible year that who would’ve thought we’d both be getting married in. If you’re looking to talk golf, sports bets, skiing or our business venture AJ is your man!
Matron of Honor
Sam gets to share this title with Kate, just like I shared the title with her sister on her wedding day back in 2018. She is my second longest friend, but probably the one who met me at one of life's lowest points. 14 years ago, we met as two clueless teenagers with braces and scrunched hair with way too much gel in it. We've trudged through years of orthodontia, bad hair, mean boys, and so much more to get to this point. As she has been with me through all of life's big milestone, I'm grateful to have her stand by my side for the biggest one yet!
Groomsman
With 16 years of memories (give or take a few blurry college years) Lee and I go back to freshmen year of high school. We spent many hours practicing for marching band, studying physics, and in general being the coolest kids in Niceville, FL. If you’re looking for a great drinking buddy at the wedding this is your guy! I could not be more grateful to have him standing by my side for the big day.
Bridesmaid
Katrina was my very first friend at TCU. Two lonely freshmen (and probably the only two girls not going through sorority recruitment) walk into a cafeteria......and the rest is history! Almost a decade later and Katrina has remained one of my truest and closest friends. Where would I be without my first roommate as an adult off the payroll?? Thanks for supporting my love of Spongebob and mac n cheese all these years later. I'm honored to have you standing with me while I marry my best friend (at least the boy version of my best friend, anyway!)
Groomsman
Having spent many game days and NFL Sundays at John’s place during college we bonded over all things sports, video games (read “Mario Kart”), and a love/hate relationship with golf. John and I have shared many great experiences together from an FSU National Championship to John’s own wedding. If you’re looking for someone to share a cigar with John is your man. Looking forward to having him as one of my groomsmen on the big day!
Bridesmaid
Another bridesmaid brave enough to claim me as a roommate! Abby and I have been friends since our Pi Phi exec days and I'm so grateful to have her as such a constant and consistent friend in my life. She is my sounding board, my chief fun officer, and my giggle buddy. There is never a dull moment with Abby and I fully expect her to light up the dance floor on the big day! Thank you for standing with me while I do the one thing I swore to never do - get married!!
Groomsman
Joel and I go back to those blurry college days that flew by way too fast. One of the more outgoing groomsmen, Joel and I became fast friends after many games of Mario Kart, Skrillex and house parties at 106 Chapel. Having been his unofficial roommate for what felt like a few months (aka me sleeping on the couch) I’m pumped to have him officially standing as one of my groomsmen.
Bridesmaid
Caitie and I didn't immediately hit it off. She thought I was a weirdo and I thought she was a b-tch with cute shoes for the first few months that we knew each other. Luckily she realized that I'm a lovable weirdo and I realized that she was a nice person with cute shoes. For as much as she eye rolls at my bad jokes and all the other crazy things I say, she also encourages me, cheers for me, and loves on me better than almost anyone else I know. We don't get to stand RIGHT next to each other for this wedding that we're in together, but I'm grateful to be standing with you up there regardless!
Groomsman
Elmond and I met at a mutual friend’s happy hour (shoutout to Justine!) when I was first starting out at Thermo Fisher Scientific 4-5 years ago. Another fellow FSU grad Elmond is always up for any adventures I throw his way! Having been around the world a few times Elmond always has a great experience to share. With nerves of steel Elmond agreed to help me with my proposal by taking our pictures when I proposed and our engagement photos. Looking forward to having him by my side on the big day!
Bridesmaid
The one and only sister of the groom. Not many people could have one of their very first meetings with their future sister-in-law be over one too many hurricanes in New Orleans at Mardi Gras and still welcome her into the family with open arms two years later. Lucky for me, Monique is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most caring people I've ever met. She has quickly become my second sister and I'm so grateful she loves me even though sometimes she doesn't love her brother all that much ;)
Groomsman
As an FSU grad and fellow tailgate all-star Kevin is like the brother I never had. Having dated my sister now for 5 years he is truly part of our very sarcastic family. Anyone who can han handle that many years of family trips and holidays I can only be proud to have by my side. This man is a TANK, and will most likely have a game of beer pong setup by the end of the night.
Bridesmaid
I guess when you spend 10 hours a day, 5 days a week with someone for a few months, it really forces you to get to know them. That's right - MacKenzie flawlessly went from coworker to lifelong friend! Although she thought I was annoying at first, I'm happy to report that I am persistent and refuse to take no for an answer. In other words, I've coerced her into becoming one of my very best friends and standing by my side on my wedding day! She is confident, supportive, and kind and you can probably find her on the dance floor for the majority of the reception.
Groomsman
Gavin and Alexa (his lovely wife) have been great friends to both Torie and me! We’ve enjoyed many nights drinking the best IPA’s San Diego has to offer and watching their boy (Hank) grow up right before our eyes. As a golfer who enjoys the quick 18 on an early Friday afternoon, Gavin and I quickly bonded over sports, beer, and careers in the life sciences industry. If you’re looking for a San Diego insider this is THE GUY to talk to at the wedding!
Flower Girl
The one who made Torie a Tía Toto. At just 4 years old, Isabel is sure to be the sassiest and most hilarious guest at the wedding. If she stops to talk to you on her walk down the aisle, be sure to point her up front so we can get the show on the road.
Officiant
When I first moved out to San Diego close to 8 years ago I met Pat at Taylormade Golf through mutual friends. Pat and I quickly became friends after we found our shared passion of all things nerd related including old school arcade games, board games, and keeping up with technology trends. Torie and I have shared many great experiences including a brief camping excursion (which you should definitely ask him about) with Pat. We could not be more grateful to have one of the people who knows us best as a couple officiating our special day. His outgoing personality and humor makes him a great addition to our wedding!
Ring Bearer
The world's most chill little brother will be sure to let his big sister steal the show! But this charming and giggly little boy will really give her a run for her money. Fingers crossed that he'll have mastered walking by November 7!
