Please plan to arrive no later than 4:30 pm to ensure we can get the party started on time! The ceremony will begin at 5 pm. It takes about 30 minutes to get from downtown Boulder to Lionscrest Manor so please plan ahead.
We will be providing a shuttle from Comfort Inn Suites Boulder to Lionscrest Manor departing at 4 pm sharp and returning back to Boulder leaving at 11:15 pm. However, if you want to come later or leave earlier there will be Uber and Lyft options available. Again, keep in mind it will take uber 30 minutes to get to the venue.
After taking Highway 66 towards Lyons, you'll cruise through downtown a bit before turning onto a windy dirt road for about a 1/4 mile. There is plenty of parking available at the venue.
We would like our guests to wear cocktail attire which is a balance between formal and casual. Ladies cocktail attire examples: cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, florals, fun colors. Gentlemen examples: light button downs/dress shirts, dress pants/slacks. Keep in mind the wedding ceremony will be located on grassy uneven ground so please plan your shoes accordingly or bring extra! We are lenient on our dress code and just don't want people showing up in jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, etc.
Colorful Colorado is known for its Mile High cities! We will be getting hitched at over a mile above sea-level. For those who are coming from a lower elevation, we encourage you to be mindful of getting acclimated to the altitude. Please plan to drink more water than usual and be cautious if you choose to partake in adult beverages during your stay. Alcohol can lead to worsened altitude-sickness, and it often packs a harder punch for those who are not yet acclimated. We want everyone to be safe and enjoy a wonderful stay.
We kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home for the weekend’s festivities. Enjoy the night off parents!
We'd love to keep our ceremony "unplugged" so that everyone can be present and live in the moment with us. We will have a professional photographer to take photos during the ceremony and will share those with our guests as we receive them back. Please refrain from taking photos with your own devices during the ceremony, however we encourage you to snap pictures throughout the cocktail hour and reception!
