In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, dating was a little difficult. Not impossible, but different. Virtual connections seemed to be the best way to get to know someone, which means dating apps were the place to go to simply meet people. Well, on a Friday in October, both Tony and Tori "Swiped Right" on Bumble. The conversations were laid back, and the two were starting to really vibe with each other. However, when Tony told Tori he just accepted a job offer out of state, neither was sure where this Bumble interaction was going to go. Casual dating progressed to exclusive dating, which progressed to full on Boyfriend and Girlfriend statuses. There were talks of trying long distance dating and it seemed to be the best option. Luckily, with there only being a 5-hour drive between Tori and Tony, they were able to see each other nearly every weekend. There were plenty of talks of what road the relationship was going and what each wanted in the future. It was clear that Tori and Tony wanted the same things. The job change, however, wasn't what was expected. Tony was ready to return to Atlanta and find a new job, and Tori was there to support him in finding a job to bring him back to Atlanta. Just shy of a year from their first exchange on Bumble, Tony got down on one knee and the rest is history! Tony moved back to Atlanta for he and Tori to start the next chapter of their story together!
