When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony and reception will be held at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, New York on Saturday, August 8th 2026.

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive by 3:30pm to ensure that you are settled in before the ceremony starts.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is black tie. Guests are encouraged to dress formally. Tuxedos or suits are appropriate for men, and evening gowns or formal cocktail dresses are appropriate for women. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to celebrate!

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes, the venue has available parking. Valet service is also available.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather permitting). Our reception will take place indoors, with access to the outdoor spaces throughout the evening.

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones we are only able to accommodate children of close family who are named on the invitation. There will be a kids club available at the venue for all other children who are not included in the wedding.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but only guests who received a plus one on their invitation can bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

Are there any hotel accommodations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at The Sagamore. Discount codes and booking details can be found in the Travel section of our website. Additionally, hotel blocks are available at The Courtyard by Marriott and The Fort William Henry, both located in Lake George Village. Booking instructions for these hotels are also available in the Travel section. Complimentary transportation will be provided to and from the venue for guests staying at The Courtyard by Marriott and The Fort William Henry.
