Hi everyone! After weeks of back and forth, the venue has finally agreed to allow us postpone to the date of Saturday April 3rd, 2021. We look forward to sharing in our big day with you all. We will have a ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and a lovely night out on the town in our second favorite city: Lancaster Pennsylvania. We will still be having a small "Minimony" on 9/12/2020 with immediate family to preserve our nine year anniversary. We cannot wait to renew our vows with all of you at our formal wedding in April! Formal invites will go out soon. Please save our date and pass this information along to everyone! Say it with us - "See you Saturday April 3, 2021!" Lots of love, Tori and Richie
Hi everyone! We are currently working with The Booking House professionals to get a postponement on the wedding. It is our hope to get the same date next year (Fingers crossed for 9/12/2021). If we are un-able to, we may get married this year in a small ceremony and have a Vow Renewal with you all, next year. We will continue to update you here. Feel free to reach out to us or to our parents for more information if you cannot find it here. We ARE moving forward with our I Do BBQ on Aug 22, 2020 for a small group of family and the bridal party. In an attempt to keep the numbers down for this co-ed shower, and keep people safe, masks are required, and we are keeping the invite list small. Thank you for all your understanding and support. We love you! Tori and Richie 7/23/2020
Richie and I had lived within degrees of separation for years, but did not meet until the summer of 2011. The month, date, or even day of the week, almost nine years later, is of course not agreed upon. Typical us. We had mutual friends at Millersville University and finally met under....interesting...circumstances one evening at a “gathering” (college code for “party”). I was of course not thrilled about stranger (to me) taking away from my fun with my friends (his friends too...jeeze Tori), so I was not exactly bubbly or kind (for the first and last time ever). To my amazement, Richie was charming, chivalrous, and compassionate. He immediately shifted the mood and melted away the tension. We talked a bit off and on, and of course he made sure I got home safe and sound that night. We continued to keep in contact and hang out with our now mutual friends over the summer and when school began that August. We took walks, celebrated all his friends' birthdays, and he showed me Ultimate Frisbee. He was an incredible gift to my life. We went out on a date that I had convinced myself was NOT a date; a very romantic 21st birthday dinner that included wine and flowers. (Yes it was, silly girl.) Then on September 27th, 2011, he was blatantly honest about his heart (clearly what I needed) and we began our relationship. We took it slow, sped it up, then found our perfect pace for not-quite-yet-nine beautiful years together. We have been on countless adventures, moved up and down the East Coast together, and shared all of our secrets. Now we are in our favorite city in the world, Philadelphia, planning our WEDDING in our second favorite city: Lancaster. It has been the most amazing, and truly "us" ride. I cannot wait to see what this next chapter has in store. E>
