Matron of Honor
Introducing the "future" matron of honor, Lauren! She is not quite a matron, but she is engaged!! We frequently get asked if we are twins. Guess it is the bff telepathy we share. She is energetic, bold, smart, and the coolest software programer I know. We have a secret handshake that has about 100 steps to it, and we catch ourselves speaking with a British accent on occasion. Laurie & Torie for life.
Maid of Honor
Sammie! She is the weirdest, funniest, and most loyal friend one could have. From playing soccer in college, throwing clay in ceramics, hiking mountains, and road trips across the USA, she's my Best Friend For Freaking Forever (BFFF). She loves fiercely and is always there to lift you up when you're down. You will see her breaking down the dance floor with a huge smile on her face and the strangest dance moves.
Bridesmaid
We became best friends in 8th grade! Our friendship began over building a rocket for a class project. Luckily, our friendship took off a lot better than our rocket did! We have worked weird jobs together, captured bats, and pranked the FayCo area. She loves MD crab cakes, bath bombs, traveling, and DIY projects. She is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. Really, try to find a sweeter human, I dare you.
Bridesmaid
My forever travel buddy & 3rd wheel to Nolan & I (or is he the 3rd wheel with us?!)! Em and I have traveled across Costa Rica, Curacao, Grand Turk, Aruba, and over 10 states together. If you ever need an adventure buddy, Em is your girl. She is fun, charismatic, cheerful, and zealous for the Lord. She is also a great dancer- boys ask her to dance April 20th!
Bridesmaid
Toohey!! A friend like no other! She is Christ-centered, an encourager, adventurer, brave, fiercely loves, and is always there for you. She leads wherever she goes. She likes the mountains, iced vanilla coffee, and winning in competitions. She is known for shooting it straight with other people, and it is always done in love. Everyone needs a friend like her!!
Bridesmaid
Kagen is light hearted, easy going, always laughing, and a joy to be around. She always points you back to Christ no matter the circumstance. In high school we would leave class to go "read outside", but instead, we would lay out and get a tan. If you run into her in the wild, she is probably eating a grilled cheese or snorting at a joke. She is a solid friend that all are thankful for!
Bridesmaid
Ash! She is fun, happy-go-lucky, kind, and a hype girl. She would always break it down on the field before games to get everyone rallied before the match. She's there for ya through thick and thin, and she always has a joyful spirit. Tori frequently facetimes Ash before date night with Nolan. This is because Ashley is a PRO at doing the smokey eye. Not just because she is good at makeup, but for her love for others and solid friendship, Ash is a friend for life!
Best Man
Assuming everyone lived by the mantra, "you can have more than one best friend", long ago I told Shane he was my best friend. I received a very abrupt and blatant response from him stating that some OTHER guy was his best friend, not me. Sitting there, not knowing what to say, he spoke again stating that he just wanted to make that very clear. Hint taken. Believe it or not we went on to spend every waking moment of high school together, as well as visit a foreign country. Although he's always ready for shenanigans or having a good laugh; this man is always accepting, lends an ear, gives advice, and knocks you down if you climb to high on your horse. He will never know what his friendship means to me. Ladies & Gentlemen, I present to you, Shane Maloney.
Best Man
Reed Deezy. The nickname is old but our friendship is older. I'm surprised both of us were not beaten to death by one of our senior year teachers for being late and causing a disturbance everyday. I still don't think my parents know I dropped an AP science course, which would have looked good on that Air Force Academy application, just so I could take that "blow off" finance class with Reed. His personality is that magnetic, you cannot meet this guy and not want to be around him. He loves Jesus, loves other people, and has helped keep me accountable in my faith throughout our entire friendship. God knew this world needed Reed.
Groomsman
Talk about a man of adventure. From camping in the Rockies, sailing the Adriatic, running with bulls in the alleys of Spain, to wandering the streets of Germany at midnight; we've had some quality fun at the taxpayers' expense, so we thank you. His thirst for intellect and others' viewpoints are contagious; you'll often find him engaging in in-depth conversations about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness. He's a true intellectual. He's also as tough as nails. Period.
Groomsman
Tommy Boy and I have spent most of our friendship just trying to crop Zach out (see picture). Tommy & I became friends junior year at the Academy, just in time for him to carry me through every group project in our civil engineering courses. He is a country boy from just outside Baltimore, Maryland and to this day I'm still confused on how that is possible. I've seen this man say "sweet nothings" to his beloved, Jackie, and bulldoze a 300 pound Samoan on the rugby pitch in the same day. If I could only pick one person to walk down a dark alley with, it's Tommy Boy.
Groomsman
Don't let the name fool you, this man is nothing short of plain and ordinary. He's a fighter pilot extraordinaire but I always assure him helicopter pilots are still the nation's best and brightest. Our times are usually spent crafting stories about our Uncle Rob that doesn't exist. Need a good story? Just ask us. Meeting Brian later in life proves that it's never to late to make a new best friend. God Speed, CHAFF.
Groomsman
We met riding the bench as the new guys on the rugby team and have referred to each other as "scrub" ever since. This guy went from Alaskan frontiersman to flying the most lucrative aircraft this nation has every witnessed, the B-2 stealth bomber (it literally looks like an alien spaceship). Whether it's being on a year long mission in Palau or authoring a speech to give you goosebumps, this man is nothing short of red-blooded. Want to see the two of us embarrass ourselves? Just play "No Scrubs" by TLC.
Groomsman
Some of the best times in high school were at lunch, when we would load up in Riley's little blue Honda. He, well... we dented the muffler one weekend, which resulted in an obnoxious noise spewing from the back forevermore. The days of high school and our first cars have come and gone but my admiration for this man has not. He is a gifted & natural leader, great with advice, and a Christ-centered individual. He's never too busy to have a lasting conversation or too closed off to love someone. As iron sharpens iron.
