We can't wait to celebrate our big day with everyone!

As most everyone knows, Tori and Monica met at work! In December 2014, Tori interviewed for a rehab assistant position at an outpatient location where Monica was working. Monica saw Tori in the lobby waiting for her interview and jokingly went to tell her boss, Kim, to immediately hire her. Tori got hired (due to her qualifications not her beauty) and started working at Medstar about a month later. Monica and Tori started out just as friends but they always felt they had a connection on a romantic level. Tori was nervous about pursuing a relationship with a coworker; however, Monica patiently waited for Tori. Monica and Tori had their first date at Millers Ale House, a local sports bar in Rockville, MD in April 2015. Monica and Tori immediately hit it off on their first date and became a couple officially on May 16, 2015 about two weeks after their first date. Monica always told Tori she wanted to be the one to propose first. Coincidentally, Tori and Monica were both planning to propose within 6 months of each other; however, Tori happened to beat Monica. Tori decided to propose on her birthday, December 16, 2017, at Brookeville Beer Farm. Tori asked her mother, Lori, to secretly decorate a Christmas tree at the trees displayed for sale at the Beer Farm with letters “Marry Me.” While looking for a tree, Tori led Monica to the decorated tree where she proposed. Friends and family were “secretly” watching this unfold and celebrated with them afterwards. Monica proposed eight days later in Michigan. Monica originally was planning a private romantic beach”getaway” in Dominican Republic as Tori and Mo were vacationing there in May 2018. However, Monica popped the question on Christmas Eve 2017. Monica wrapped a wine glass that had "will you marry me?" on it and gave it to Tori during a Christmas family party. While Tori opened the gift while Monica got down on one knee and the rest is history.
