What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
Outdoor cocktail attire. Suits or sport jackets for the men. Colorful dresses for the women. There will be a photographer, so no phones please.

What will dinner be on the wedding night?

Team effort, we will be doing the cooking. Current plan is Paul Nietzel manning the grill to serve up filet mignon and salmon. Sides will be salad, rolls, potato and leek au gratin, and asparagus. Cake to follow.

What are the sleeping arrangements in the Wolf Den?
Answer
5 bedrooms, we'll have to be creative. Main floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. Full bath attached to one of the bedrooms. Powder room is also on the main floor. Upstairs has two bedrooms with a full jack and jill bath. Each room has a queen bed and twin bed. Room above the attached garage has a queen bed and full bath.

What else is planned for the weekend?

Please see "things to do" for ideas! Thursday evening upon arrival, we think pizzas from Leadville's Mountain High Pies would be appropriate and easy. We can relax, hot tub, watch a movie. Friday morning will be relatively wide open for everyone. A hike, paddleboarding, kayaking, or horseback riding would be appropriate. Some cooking prep will need to be handle early afternoon. Vendors will be at the house setting up early afternoon as well; best to stay inside or off the property as to not be in the way. Saturday would be a great day for larger activities such as river rafting, Great Sand Dunes National Park, a longer hike, renting bikes in Buena Vista, or a combination of activities. We all have different skill levels and desires so we imagine there may be a few groups doing different activities. Dinner at the Wolf Den to be planned - thinking burgers! Sunday is checkout day. If driving to Omaha, you may be heading out early. For our lingering folks, we can have a more leisurely morning to pack up the house and explore the last bit of the Arkansas River Valley!

What is the elevation at Twin Lakes?

Twin Lakes elevation is shy of 10,000 ft. Please hydrate excessively and wear sunscreen! Expect daylight hours to be very warm and shade/night to be cool.

When can we arrive in Colorado?
Answer
Mitchell and Tori will both be taking all of Thursday off work. If wanting to break up the drive, we welcome you to drive to Denver on Wednesday and we can caravan to Twin Lakes on Thursday afternoon. Thursday will include a handful of last minute items including grocery shopping, liquor pick up, linen pick up, and nail appointment for Tori.
