It all started in high school where Kennan and Tori only knew of each other. Crossing paths but never talking. They connected after high school in 2020. Believe it or not over social media. Kennan reached out to Tori first sparking a relationship. After spending a few weeks together, going on one special date in the back of Kennan's old truck where they played board games and ate taco bell while the sun went down. They went on to spend only a few more months together, when the spark slowly faded away. Losing contact, Kennan and Tori go their separate ways. After a few years go by, Kennan reached back out to Tori again over social media in 2022. This time around was different. After only a few days of talking again, Tori got a phone call from Kennan asking her to pick him up from his brothers. Not knowing what she was getting herself into she got into the car and headed his way. Well, it turned out Kennan could not drive himself home after having a few too many. That night in Kennan's happiness fueled by alcohol he surprised Tori with tickets to her favorite singer at the time, Morgan Wallen for august 25th. The only catch was the concert was in Kansas. To this day Tori still does not know if Kennan meant to buy the ones in a different state. But that didn't matter at the time. No one ever did something like this for her just because they wanted too. Just a few days later they set off on a road trip together only days into reconnecting. September 4th, they start dating, spending every second they can together. In January of 2023 Kennan and Tori got their first apartment together. Kennan asked Tori at least twice a week if she was ready for him to propose she always told him he had to wait until a year into their relationship. September came and went, and Tori tried to figure out when he was going to propose. Knowing he had to have been planning something soon. As September ended Tori had no idea when he was going to get down on one knee. October 7th, 2023, they had plans to go to a concert, Tori's new favorite singer Jessie Murph. They left the apartment early to help Tori's mom before the concert. That's what Tori thought. It was all a plan to get her over to her parent's house so Kennan could propose around both of their families just like she asked for.
