Flight
The closest airport is Denver International, approximately 40 min drive from Downtown Golden. If you would like to avoid the costly expense of renting a car for the weekend, please feel free to utilize Denver's public transportation light rail, the RTD. From the airport you can take the A-Line to Union Station. From Union Station, transfer to the W-Line to Golden. You can use the community-call-n-ride bus at the Golden Transportation Center to take you to your hotel. Uber and Lyft are also available from DIA. Please contact Tori or Jordan if you need any assistance with airport transportation or carpooling.
Hotel
This is where we will be having our welcome party and where shuttles for the ceremony will meet and drop off guests. There is parking on site for all guests of the hotel. Reservations must be made by individual guests by calling The Golden Hotel directly at 303.279.0100 no later than 11:59 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on 06/14/2024. Shuttle

A shuttle to the wedding venue will be provided for guests. Please meet at The Golden Hotel by 3:30pm. The shuttle will leave promptly at 4:00 so all guests can arrive on time to the ceremony. Please make every effort to make the shuttle departure time as there is NO PARKING at the event venue.
Travel Note
The town of Golden sits at 5,675 feet in elevation, putting you at risk of altitude sickness if traveling from lower altitude. Altitude sickness is an illness caused due to decreasing amount of oxygen at above sea level altitudes usually around 4,800 ft. This sickness mainly occurs when individuals travel from lower altitudes to higher altitude in less than one day. At this altitude, altitude sickness is rare and typically mild.
