We’re so excited to be celebrating our wedding at This Is The Place Heritage Park! This charming historic park is just east of downtown Salt Lake City and is full of pioneer-era buildings, scenic spots, and fun touches like trains, pony rides, and interactive exhibits. It’s a beautiful and unique place to explore, take photos, and enjoy a bit of Utah history while you’re visiting for the wedding. The park is lovely in October, with cooler temps and beautiful fall colors. Comfortable shoes are a good idea if you want to wander before or after the ceremony!

At the top, you’ll find flat rock formations arranged like a “living room,” making it a fun spot to relax and take photos. Know before you go: The trail is about 2.5 miles round trip with some uphill sections. Bring water, wear good shoes, and plan for changing weather — especially in the warmer months. Totally worth it for the views!
