Our story started all the way back in elementary school, though it did not begin as a friendship. Vale was not happy with me for climbing a dying tree.. Oops! By 8th grade, something clicked and we became inseparable. Through every chapter of life, she’s been my person, my confident, and my biggest supporter. I couldn’t imagine this day without her standing by my side.

Qais and I met during the summer of our JV football season. It was an unlikely friendship that started in the weight room and turned into a brotherhood that’s stood the test of time. No matter how long we go without talking, we’re always there for each other, and when we catch up, it’s like no time has passed at all. For those reasons and many more, I couldn’t get married without my boy by my side.
