Dear Family & Friends, In light of the uncertainty arising from the ongoing pandemic, and to ensure the well-being of our guests, we decided to postpone our wedding celebration. Our new date is exactly one year later: October 17, 2021. Though now taking place on a Sunday, we still encourage you to come up for the full weekend. We will be hosting welcome events on Friday and Saturday, with the reception and ceremony the following day. We look forward to celebrating with all of you this year! We are beyond excited to begin our lives together, and sharing our vows and full wedding weekend with you is so very important to us. All Our love, Tori & Jason
The Tori and Jason love story began in the summer of 2017. It was a beautiful Thursday night to play in a co-ed softball game. Tori's team needed an extra player so her friend Jordan brought his new buddy from work to fill the spot. Jason showed up in sweats, with a shoe box of fresh cleats and a calm aura of confidence. Tori bounced over with her high pony to say hi, and to wish him luck in keeping those cleats clean. Jason hit a HR that night, solidifying his spot on the team. There would be plenty more games for these two to get to know one another. By the end of the summer, Jason and Tori went on their first date. They played pool, shot darts and ordered fries. On their second date, they played mini golf, and ordered spuds once more. Their love for competition, and starchy carbohydrates, made them inseparable.
When they first started dating, Jason and Tori bonded not only over their love for fried potato varieties, but also their love for dogs. As time went on, and their love for each other grew, it was only natural to talk about the future. Each had furry friends as part of their childhood, and both agreed that it was a deal breaker in the courting process if they couldn't get a dog. When each felt it was time to add a member to the family, the search ensued. The team looked on countless websites until they found a plump little whoodle destined to be part of the squad. Two days later they drove to Long Island to meet the puppy. Tori would soon learn that Jason had an ulterior motive, and would use his new son as a bargaining chip in asking to her to embark on an even bigger journey - to be his future wife. Holding a fluffy little sweet potato, there was no way she could say no. The family was now three, and the newly engaged couple traveled back up north with their new puppy, Spud.
